Spectraverse

The Game

Spectraverse is a 2D turn-based strategy game. The player expands their interstellar empire by colonizing and capturing planets across the galaxy. To win, the player must be the first to own all of the planets on the map.

This is a small game that was made within a month. Planned to be released on mobile. This game is still in development but it's playable. Please report any bugs and feedback whch is always appreciated.

How To Play

The game boots up in the main menu. The player can start a match by pressing New Game and then choosing a set number of players. The match starts once the player presses the Start Game button. A galaxy map will appear and each player will start with one planet in a randomized position.

Drag the map around by using either the right mouse button, left mouse button or scrollwheel button. The camera can zoom in and out by using the scrollwheel. Click and drag from a owned planet to a neighbouring planet to connect them with a warp line. Once connected, select the planet to either press the Attack or Colonize buttons.

Pressing the Attack button will enter into a simulated space battle between the two players. If the attacking player wins then the planet will be captured by them. If the defending player wins then the planet will stay in their possession. Pressing the Colonize button will colonize the planet. If the planet is owned by another player then the planet will stay in their possession.
